Aloha! Let's face it, the ukulele is a very cool instrument. Some young kids call it a small guitar. While that's not entirely true, it kinda fits for the ukulele. There are so many cool reasons to take ukulele lessons with us. We asked some of our students what they love the most. Here are the top (3) reasons to take ukulele lessons at Littleton School of Music:
1. So many cool songs. Chances are, you have heard the very popular version of the classic song, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow " by Iz Kamakawiwo'ole. But if you haven't, you can check it out here. At the time of posting this blog, it has over 652 million views and is a very cool song to learn on the ukulele. We can show you how! 2. So easy to play. Within a few lessons you can learn a handful of really fun songs. Why? Because the instrument has a very friendly size for both kids and adults and we help you see how easy it can be. You learn basic finger shapes, or chords. We show you how to tune your instrument, hold it, and even sing while you play! 3. Very easy to afford. Most quality ukuleles are very affordable. We have a few at our school we got for under $50 that do just fine. Of course, if you want fancier ones that plug in or have neat designs or colors, they aren't that much more in price even then. We can show you great recommendations. If you are looking for an inexpensive instrument to learn or have your kids learn, ukulele is tough to beat! So call us today and we can tell you all about it including our basic study membership that helps beginners of all ages get going. Call us at (303) 972-7625 today to learn or or reserve your first lesson spot with a fun, patient instructor. Or send us an email at info@littletonmusiclessons.com. Aloha!
