Standing as a beacon of hope to many Families in our community, the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children Foundation is dedicated to advancing the well-being of children through financial, nutritional, and emotional support and we are thrilled to say we get to be a small part of the big impact they make!

At the core of the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children Foundation's mission is a dedication to innovation and compassion, ensuring comprehensive care beyond medical treatment. By harnessing the generosity of donors and collaborating with medical experts, the foundation pioneers groundbreaking treatments and therapies, transforming the lives of countless children.

With its unwavering commitment to excellence and compassion, the Foundation continues to serve as a vital lifeline for families navigating the complexities of pediatric healthcare, embodying the spirit of hope and healing in the Rocky Mountain region and beyond.

Through contributions, we're able to assist in funding crucial initiatives such as research, specialized care, and family support services, directly impacting the lives of children in need of medical attention. We are proud to partner with such a vital organization and grateful for your contributions towards this important cause. Together, we're making a meaningful difference in the lives of many children and families in need!

New Lesson Account!

Welcome to your NEW Lesson Account! Throughout February and March, we worked with all Families and Students to move to a new scheduling and billing system, but there’s so much more to it! With this new Portal, you have more lesson options than ever before.

You are able to manage your schedule; cancel a lesson and generate a private makeup credit; browse Teacher bios to find the perfect fit; and message your Teacher directly for updates on lessons and assignments! We wanted to make your life easier and we hope this does just that.

Did you or your Student just pick up a new hobby that conflicts with your current lesson time? No worries! You are now able to go into your portal and browse all available times & teachers to find the perfect fit to transfer to.

What if you have a one-time conflict and can’t make your upcoming lesson, but you’d like to stick with your day, time, and Teacher ongoing? The option of having a recorded video lesson being made and sent your way is still an option, and by uploading directly to your Lesson Account, there is no download expiration you need to worry about. Now though, there’s another option for you too! You can log in to your Portal, cancel a lesson 24 hours or more in advance, generate a private makeup credit (up to 3 a year), and schedule that makeup lesson with your Primary Instructor - all from within your Portal!

Your Lesson Account also has a messaging system so you can communicate with your instructor directly, and a Virtual Classroom so you have the option of having an online or in person lesson every week. There’s a lot of new options we wanted to be sure to share with you, but we recommend taking a look for yourself! Use the QR code below to log in to your Lesson Account today and explore!

MUSIC TIP OF THE MONTH : Be Kind to Yourself!

Learning music is a journey that requires patience, persistence, and above all, kindness towards oneself. Whether you’re a new student picking up a guitar for the first time, or a dedicated pianist continuing to improve your skills, embracing self-compassion is essential to fostering growth and enjoyment throughout the musical process.

It's natural to encounter challenges and setbacks along the way, but rather than becoming discouraged, treating yourself with gentleness and understanding can be transformative. Acknowledging progress, no matter how small, and celebrating personal achievements are integral aspects of nurturing a positive relationship with music learning. Participating in the Recital, reaching new levels on the Musical Ladder, seeking out the next book you’re ready for, are all HUGE wins when learning music and deserve a pat on the back.

It's important to remember that perfection is not the goal, but rather the joy of expression and exploration. Embracing mistakes as opportunities for learning and growth fosters resilience and creativity. Setting realistic expectations, practicing self-care, and maintaining a sense of curiosity and wonder are all vital components on the musical journey.

Remember to be kind to yourself and celebrate the small wins too!
